Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) would like to offer G-1 Symphony our deep appreciation for "RACING FOR CHARITY" in the Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2005 (MME2005)

G-1 Symphony raised RM11,550 with the bulk of the donation stemming from Nationwide Express Sdn Bhd and Symphony House Sdn Bhd.

The big surprise of the night came when team drivers Eric Yeo, T.J Chin and Firhat Mokhzani presented an additional cheque for RM7, 500. This money is the prize money won by the drivers for placing third in the Open Class MME 2005. The total amount rose by G-1 Symphony was RM19, 000.

WAO would also like to extend a big thank you to the team at X-1R Redbull Racing who also drove for WAO (a special thanks to Phillipa Yoong, Deanna Yusoff & Kazumi Mikami) and placed 6th in Class B of MME2005. Although the amount raised was not as significant, their enthusiasm and dedication to helping WAO is priceless.

The total amount raised from the MME2005 was RM21, 186. This money will be used to continue providing shelter, as well as vital services needed for the survivors of domestic violence.
