This book was initiated by Cross Time Matrix publishers Tunku Soraya Dakhlah and Joan Foo Mahony with the help of Jacqui Chan who decided to compile an array of Malaysian Cuisine and publish it with the sole aim of raising funds for 7 charitable homes, WAO being one of them. However, due to poor sales, they have decided to donate the books to the 7 Homes so that the Homes are able to sell them and raise the funds.
