In September, October, and November 2004, WAO partnered with La Senza and Marie Claire for the "End Violence Against Women Campaign" and "Walk the Talk 2004". The three-month campaign was designed to increase awareness about the issue and to give everyone a chance to act to help end violence against women. The campaign included in-store activities and promotions at La Senza stores, features in three months of Marie Claire magazine, road shows at various KL and Selangor locations throughout the months of October and November, and a 2km fundraising walk called "Walk the Talk 2004", which took place on 21 November 2004. Shortly before the Walk on 21 November, La Senza presented WAO with a check for RM 80,000. This contribution will go toward the opening of WAO's third centre, a drop-in and resource centre. The Centre will open in December 2004 in Section 14, Petaling Jaya.
