What happens on 3R Day?

Treasure Hunt
This whole day event begins with a Treasure Hunt where participants in teams of three people will take part in a Treasure Hunt which involves using the Putra LRT as a mode of transportation. There will be 3 categories - Open, Corporate and School Girls. For the Open and Corporate Category,at least one member of the team must be female.

The Treasure Hunt is a fundraising activity where all the entry fees will go to AWAM and WAO. Entry fees are RM90 per Open Category team and RM1000 per Corporate Category team. For more information on the Treasure Hunt and how you can participate, go to 3R's website.

Marching Band and Cheerleading Competition
Kotex will be organising an Inter School Marching Band and Cheerleading Competition where participants from 10 girls' school around Klang Valley will be invited to participate. Each school will be given 10 to 15 minutes to perform their routine and judging will be based on creativity, relevance to the theme of "Stop Violence Against Women" and "Kotex Cares".

Exhibition Booths, Videowall
Throughout the entire day, the public can pop by any of the exhibition booths set up by WAO, AWAM, Loreal, Kotex and other corporate sponsors. WAO & AWAM's booth will be focusing on domestic violence and rape. There, you can find out more about Violence Against Women, what it is all about, and what you can do to help. There will also be a videowall showing videoclips on the issue of violence against women and 3R episodes.

Outdoor Concert
The day will end with a splash as Sheila Majid, Sarimah, Camelia, Annuar Zain, Ning Baizura, Too Phat, Synergy and many more artistes come together to perform and speak out against Violence Against Women. They will be performing songs around the theme as well as in celebration of the empowerment of women. YB Dato' Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Minister of Women and Family Development will officiate the concert with a poem.
